Day 5: 'Lost Knowledge of the Imagination'

Using the imagination as a means of knowledge— write about using the imagination not as dragon in the sky

“We murder to dissect”

What happens to you in nature?

How has this changed over the years?

Has aging improved this disposition. Knowledge— enjoyment by contrast is a shallow thing

To many ot seems as though imagination implies the creation of a falsehood, weather that lie is made consciously or not.

In the woods, without effort, something of the imagination awakens. Only after Emerson’s transparent eye ball (to be absorbed in your seeing (and hirssels suspension of disbelief) takes effect, a thrill washes through, it feels very much like a creative freedom— inspiration and the knowledge of exactly how to create. It is the creative process removed from the hands, the analytical mind, or any tool. Instead it its whole bodied and the creativity lies within what we do, what I do with my perception that has now a limitless freedom of movement and a compass for directing which is highly attuned to the heart of meaning. We become empowered co creators and in this position of choice, the core of freedom, I choose over and over again the disposition that aligns with the pace, rhythm, and emotional register of nature itself. Equanimity, a holding presence, a wisdom eternally at peace We become aware of the dynamic character of our perception

Challenge your fundamental metaphysics of the world The intentionality that culminates in seeing is a creative vision

These are from the October 23rd, the day I discovered the "roller coaster connector" along the Gropter trail where the catherdral lives. and within that catherdal, a tree who stands guardian at the base of a creek dried up sometime ago. Today was also the day that the creek chose to hypnotize me and i let it have its way
